On Tuesday November 29th, 2022 St Thomas Rescue responded to a drowning involving two persons.
At approximately 1955 hours, St Thomas Rescue, the Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD), and the Virgin Islands Fire Emergency Medical Service (FEMS) were mobilized to a reported drowning in the area of Oasis Cove Marina, Frydenhoj.
Upon arrival, Rescue Officers, firefighters, and good samaritans rescued an adult female from the water, and began lifesaving measures.
As further information was received, Officers were made aware that a child was also missing. Shortly after, a baby, approximately four months old [of Neonatal age] was also recovered from the water.
Both patients were transported by ambulance to the Roy Lester Schneider Hospital.
